Midland Pacific Homes Marches with Camp Roberts

Open House Event Slated for Saturday, May 3rd

SAN MIGUEL — When Camp Roberts opens its gates Saturday May 3rd for a community open house celebrating 67 years on the Central Coast, it will do so with a boost from Midland Pacific Homes. The longtime local home builder has stepped up to help underwrite the cost of the BBQ at the event that is anticipated to attract a large crowd. Reed Harris, director of sales for Midland Pacific Homes, said the Camp Roberts event is an ideal partner for Midland Pacific. “We have a stated commitment to support our local communities. Camp Roberts is an important part of the North County, and proceeds from the open house are earmarked for the Resource Connection, a San Miguel organization that is doing great things for the community,” Harris said, “and to top it off, a number of our employees have children serving in the military and we want to recognize that service.” The Camp Roberts Open House will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday. Admission is free and attendees will be treated to military demonstrations and equipment displays, a tour of the on-post historical museum, activities for kids, vendor booths, entertainment and BBQ. The open house marks the 67th anniversary of the post, located on Highway 101 just north of Paso Robles. Event activities will be held on the Camp Roberts Athletic Field.
